For nearly two years, I've tested the best shower filters among a new generation of filtered showerheads that promise to solve whatever your deteriorating pipes and chemical-filled shower water might be doing to your body, during what may otherwise be the only peaceful five minutes of your day.The best filtered showerheads I've tested are quite good at removing the abrasive chlorine and chlorine compounds that cities add to your tap water to kill bacteria: I tested these claims using reliable lab kits and digital colorimeters.
